Hi lovely,

I'm so glad you're here and that you found us. Welcome to our community for mums in business.

Running a business is challenging enough, add in being a mum and things can feel very overwhelming, very quickly.

So, we've got a saying here {it's more of an affirmation really and we repeat it everyday, whenever needed}:

"I'm doing the best I can, with what I've got and it's good enough!"

And then we breathe .....

Now imagine we're all sitting around my kitchen table sharing tips and stories about how we're creating and growing our blogs & businesses. We're all on a journey building our confidence, finding our customers and getting our cash flowing.

And because, YOU are the most valuable asset in your business, we also talk about radical self care and how important it is in building your empire.

As well as blog and biz tips from our experts, you'll love our inspiring interviews with our featured Monday Mumpreneur each week. She's just like you and me and she's ready and willing to share with us her motivation, her challenges and her proudest moments in business and also tell us how she takes time to nurture herself. If you’re looking for inspiration, then our featured business mums show you what’s possible, wherever they are on their biz journey.

Come and join us lovely, we've saved you a seat x

Mum's Got a Business is the place to be ...

Whether you're already running a successful business, in the process of setting one up or dreaming of one day becoming a mumpreneur.

If you're looking for specific business resources, support and accountability to move your business to the next level or just want to hang out with like-minded mums, you're in the right place.

Who am I?

Hi, I’m Heather,

I'm a blogger, therapist, author, speaker, teacher and {most importantly} a mum.

I'm dedicated to helping you create the life and business you love.

I set up my business {I'm a psychotherapist by trade} in 1994 and found that being a mumpreneur can be rather challenging, to say the least. By 2000 my private practice had transformed into a stress management consultancy and I was working with corporates, travelling around the UK speaking at conferences and teaching night school at university. It became so FULL ON, I had no time to do anything else.

It was all too much and in 2006 we left our busy life in the city to create a simple life in the middle of the countryside. A life built around different priorities including: self care, family and balance.

In 2007 I started blogging as a way to share information and inspiration with other business mums on their own journey and quickly learnt that it was possible to create a full time income to support my family. This meant I could work from home, watch my daughter grow up and never miss a sports day or nativity play again. I want the same for you!
