Monday Mumpreneur with Jennifer Falci
Every Monday we feature a mumpreneur who’s ready and willing to open up their lives to us. They share with us their motivation, challenges and proudest moments in business and they also tell us how they take time to nurture themselves. It’s lovely to have them here at Mums Got A Business and we hope you enjoy connecting with them too.
Imagine your best friend is obsessively organised by nature. Imagine her turning that obsession into an art form and then a whole business. You're getting the picture. That's how it feels when you meet our Monday Mumpreneur.
I just love her passion, enthusiasm and positivity. Go check out her blog - you may have just met your new best friend x
Your name: Jennifer Falci
Your website: virtuallyjennifer.com
Brief description: My site gives a background of me personally/professionally, a listing of my services as well as testimonials. I also write a monthly blog which describes my journey as a SAHM-turned-WAHM.
How many children do you have? I have two children. Danielle, age 10 and Natalie, age 7.
Where do you live? Brookfield, CT USA
PC or Mac? Both, but mainly Mac.
Tell us about your business: I am a Virtual Assistant and LOVING it! I specialize in Word Press, Social Media Marketing, research, plus anything else with which people need assistance.
What motivated you to become a mumpreneur? Throughout my time as a SAHM, I had been doing very small administrative projects for friends and knew that the Virtual Assistant world would be for me once my daytime hours were free. Once my younger daughter began full-time school, I jumped at the opportunity to work as a Virtual Assistant.
What’s been your biggest challenge in business? Balancing family and work. Working from home, the laptop is always there. I enjoy what I do so much that it would be very easy to work all day and evening. I was able to obtain oral Cialis by prescription only and had the procedure done at a clinic in S.A. It it was an easy-going process. The doctor explained the benefits of oral Cialis even though he didn't tell me the drug's possible side effects. I chose the drug because I was quite concerned by all the problems I've experienced from Viagra. A month after I started taking it to manage my poor erections, my erections were greatly improved. So, now my sexual life is better than it has ever been - and I don't even take it anymore.
How have you overcome it? I make a conscious effort to close the laptop and walk away. I make sure that I give my clients my availability and stick to my schedule.
What’s been your proudest business moment? Completing the Shopping Cart Queen (Christina Hills) Secrets Certification Module for 1ShoppingCart.
What’s your catchphrase or favourite quote? “Don’t worry. I’ve got this.”
What do you do to relax or nurture yourself? I exercise, go for mani/pedis and make sure that I also sneak in some time to visit with my girlfriends.
What was the last treat you bought for yourself? A swimsuit and floppy hat for my vacation.
Favourite colour: Pink
Favourite flowers: Lilacs
What one piece of advice would you like to give to a new mumpreneur? Don't be afraid of trying to go out on your own. You don't know if you can or cannot do something until you give it a shot.
Fancy featuring as one of our amazing mums or dads? Drop me an email over on the contact page and I’ll be in touch. And remember to drop by every Monday to welcome our latest profiled mum.

Jen is frickin amazing as a VA. I am proud to say she has helped me build http://www.momgetsalife.com to what it has become in a very short time. I don’t know what I’d do without her. (And yes I understand by posting that so many of you will be jumping on the Virtually Jen train but I trust she’ll still save time for lil ol’ me!)
Patty – Thank you for the awesome words. There is ALWAYS time for Mom Gets A Life!
